2016 Caravelle swb 150ps engine type cxf 031898 DSG 7 speed on acceleration i am getting a real rattle your teeth vibration seems to be coming from n/s front could it be a drive shaft or a bearing? can't get her into the workshop for a couple weeks has any one else experienced this kind of issue any thoughts would be much appreciated

Update Garage seems to think it's the wishbone bushes when he put a bar under them there was a lot of movement it's booked in midweek so we shall see

I think even from factory there's a lot of play in them compared to other vehicles, they have voids in the bushes, I'm not convinced the garage on the right track, hope I'm wrong.

If they are that bad, how come it wasn't picked up on the last MOT?
My local friendly MOT guy mentioned mine were getting soft, and we have a plan to replace them this summer.

I've been having the exact same issue on my 2016 (6 Speed manual, SWB) 150 T32 - thread is here - Judder through steering wheel
The garage have diagnosed that there is excessive play in both o/s and n/s driveshafts and stub shafts.

I knew this was a common issue with some T5s, but hadn't heard for the T6. Mine is in for the fix at the moment, hoping to get back next week - fingers crossed it sorts it out!!

Good you’ve found the issue, please update with the fault and a few photos of the failed unit. Hopefully it’s not the splines or I’ll be pulling mine out for greasing and a grease nipple mod’.

Play in the inner joint you could only tell when the wheel was turned a certain way and then you could see it moving in and out,had the lower wish bones changed as well one of the ball joints was well knacked happened to be the same side as the driveshaft we live in a very rural area lots of tractors and lots of pot holes and crumbling road edges

I’ve a similar issue at 1200 rpm getting vibrations through accelerator in all gears I’m driving kombi T6 with 120000 miles dsg gear box hopefully its just drive shaft issue

You could tell that mine was definitely one sided
