I had my van serviced last week at a vw dealership. It cost £175. The adblue warning came on today. Should they have done this at the service?

They certainly should have seen it was low.

The service spec sheet should say what they would do in that service. I would be surprised if they had this on the list as it is a consumable like diesel.

isn't screen wash a consumable? And they topped that up.....charged for it
