Hello to everyone, this post is in relation to my dilemma of should I get her lowered or not, as I've previously stated I can carry a fair bit of stuff in her and she is a for my business and used daily ( oh apart from every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday ) when I don't work , however i still drive her as..... Well..... I prefer her to the car !!!!
Anyway I've posted some photos of her loaded today, which shows how she sits on the 20" alloys, and know I don't think I can lower her any even if I wanted to, but I'm still looking to lower her at the front, do we have any thoughts, advice on this.
Thanks

Its a tricky one, i think it looks good as it is, if you want to lower to alter the difference between front and back then thinking its going to be coilovers but is the rear weight consistent ?
If you load is going up and down its going to be difficult to get it sat perfectly

Thanks @Pauly , my problem is when it's loaded it looks like the above but obviously when it's empty it shoots up higher, but if I had it lowered then fully loaded her it would be sitting on the wheels, however when it's empty I think the front is sitting higher anyway, so may just get front lowered by 30 !!!!

Just get selling and saving kid ;)

Air would be perfect for your T6 with the weight in the back changing a lot. It will keep level all the time

Gotta agree with @StudleyGlass , coil overs are a pain to adjust, ok for initial setup and the odd tweak if you fancy going lower, but if you wanna go up and down all the time air it is.

I would lower it. However I would never run 275/40 Tyres. That's far too big.

275/35 and lowered 30-40mm.

I had 275/40 tyres lowered on vmax on the T5 and I thought it looked OK, with the slightly larger tyres you get a nice even gap all around the wheel arch.

Yes just to reword it 275/40/19 is perfect.
275/35/20 is identical in overall diameter. 275/40/20 is very large. A good gap filler but it is does limit lowness.

Thanks for all your thoughts and opinions, i will take some other pics regarding mine as i also have to be careful as it now has a double condenser fan underneath its chassis and also a compressor on the front, so may just have to leave it for time being....

Wow. Those wheels ...
:grin bounce:

Thanks @HHO , must admit when they were in the box I liked them, but they are so much nicer on, had them sealed and had the calipers done red so it looks really good underneath them, I was in 2 minds between these wheels and the all black gloss ones but so happy I went with the these, just roll on the 19th when I go to vanstyle to fit the rest of my stuff :)

Surely that all depends on the width of the wheel? 275 will be too wide for 19'' 8.5J?

Well, in relation to this, decision has been made, after today and seeing her loaded, I simply cannot lower her, it was sitting perfect with a load on this morning but if I had her lowered the rear would definitely not take it, I would go down the lines of air but I've also got to take into account that she is my work horse and here to make me money....
With moving to a new house happening in 2 weeks and the better half ordering new furniture ( suite, table and chairs, 4 (yes 4 new beds) as the fifth bedroom could be for the new baby ( I'm 42 WTF .... ) I'm just going to get the side, roof bars and roof spoiler fitted on the 19th then decide what front spoiler she is having then I'm done ( apart from leather retrim but she doesn't have to know this)
But on a good note I've now got my 2 lads on board with pushing for the customvans GTS kombi ;)
