I’m in the process of slowly upgrading my camper electrics.
As part of that upgrade, I will be replacing each of my 2 single factory plastic rear seat base trims with carpet covered plywood.
I’m doing this because the drivers side will be fitted with a mains socket in addition to the existing heater vent and the passenger side will be fitted with a battery monitor display together with an isolator switch. Replacing them also gives me a bit more space under the seats.
My question is how to secure them?
I’ve seen others have used Velcro or magnets on aftermarket seat base trims.
Are there any other clever mounting solutions that people have used?
