Sat Nav freezes after powers on

Help!!
All of a sudden my Discover Media system no longer tracks my position.
When I first switched on it finds my location fine but then never moves.
Tried holding down the power button for 10 seconds and resetting the unit but it doesn't solve the problem.

Have you had any work done on the door mirrors, the problem might be an issue with the GPS antenna.

Does it find a new location if you park up somewhere else or is it just stuck on the last single location it had no matter what?

Hi there. Did you solve the problem? My 2016 Gen 2 started doing exactly the same thing last week.

finds location when loaded but does not track the route loaded. Just says off road. Rebooting then finds the location but again no tracking after that.

I don't know whether to buy a new GPS unit or if it is a software glitch in the Gen 2 unit

Seem to remember something about privacy settings or location settings affecting that
Have you searched through the menus and double checked the permissions are ok ?

is that in a gen 2 head unit or are you referencing android phone?
