I am trying to repair a Sanjo svr 50 fridge for a friend. It has 12.7v on terminals but absolutely no life.
Pressing buttons makes no difference so I suspect the control board.
Is it possible to get a replacement control board or does anyone know what else could be the problem?

Have you got a picture of the fridge?

Hi , I have the same problem been off for a month won't turn back on did you resolve the problem. Cheers
Funnily enough I had not heard from my friend for sometime and a couple of days ago they texted to say they fixed the problem.
They used Google AI which said to disconnect for 15 minutes and the reconnect. And after months of not working it started working again.
I believe these fridges have a microprocessor controller which can crash. A 10 minute power down forces a reset.
Hopefully this works for you as well.
Best of luck

Hi all, sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I’m having similar problems with my Sanjo 3J fridge.

It’s been absolutely fine for nearly a year, but recently it’s developed a fault. On initial start-up it runs normally and cools as expected. However, once it reaches the set temperature and the compressor cuts out, the orange warning light comes on and the compressor won’t restart when the temperature rises again.

The only way to get it working again is to pull the fuse for around 20 minutes and restart the unit. It will then run for another 10–15 minutes, reach temperature, shut off, and the same issue happens again—orange light on, compressor won’t kick back in, and I’m left with a box that’s basically just an LED light.

Has anyone come across this before or have any ideas what might be causing it?
Thanks in advance.
