Roamer 144 - under seat?

For me it was so that the chargers could stay under the seat as well. My understanding is that the 230ah one fills the base and so the chargers would need a new home.
If you're talking about the B2B charger then that was what I was doing in the picture I posted earlier, swapping out a busted Renogy DCC50S MK1 for a later version with larger heatsink fins.
I ran the first B2B at 50A which was it's limit so a bit rough with it, the current version is throttled back to a calmer 30A either from the alternator, solar or both at the same time.

The 230Ah Roamer will fit as my pic above and Lee @Dellmassive has two 230Ah Fog stars, one under each front single seat... as the legend goes "Just do it"
I've got twin Roamer sb230s in the camper (bus), one under each seat.

And I have 1* Fogstar sb230 in the (work) van.

I've just had the full run down of the new Roamer Gen5 battery's, now with a 12 year warranty...

More details to follow. @RoamerBatteries

I really would like to make use of the space under the drivers seat but annoyingly and not foreseen, the heater outlet from my underslung Eberspacher diesel heater comes up through the drivers seat base so im pretty much stuck unless you have any ideas of a workaround?

Having looked again at the 144 why did you guys choose that over the 230 seatbase ?
It was replacing an existing 130Ah battery - so for us it was a pretty much direct replacement, in terms of size, with a bit more capacity and less weight.
Having done a week off grid over the summer, and not requiring more power, it made sense. The UK made / 12 Year warranty were the most attractive factors TBH.

Just to add to this thread, Hythe Auto Electrics have made a predrilled underseat kit for the 144 battery and various other chargers and fusebox. They're selling through Combe Valley Campers webshop or you can order from Roamer. Its even possible to get this prewired with all the Victron bits included, you just drop it into the seatbase and connect the cables to the starter battery and solar panel.

This looks amazing, and I've been planning on tidying up under the seat. I've just sent them a message to see if they would sell it with cabling but without the battery/chargers.

Yes he would do that. Message Olie at Hythe directly and hell sort you out. We’ll also have the full kit on display at the NEC campervan and motorhome show 17-22nd Feb if you want to check it out

I've just found his email. I'll send him a message if I get no response to the website enquiry.
I'm away in the Lakes that weekend unfortunately, otherwise would have loved to visit.
