Rim size to clear 355mm discs

Told I need 19inch rims to clear a 355mm discs is this right as I prefer to run 18inch

Some wheel designs can leave more room than others so it may not be as simple as either 18" or 19". Similarly, different calipers may require more clearance than others.
Which wheels and calipers are you considering to go with the 355's?

Not bought wheels yet 355 mm with ap 6 pots ( I do have a spare 18 vw steel to try

We’ve got an 18” to clear 362 discs. It’s more about the caliper and wheel design. We did need to use spacers to do this but it worked.

Brilliant fingers crossed , I was worried about brakes as didn’t won’t to go over kill / but not over big on rims
