I thought maybe this was worth a review, not for the service, but for a possible data protection breach.

I bought a Victron IP65 Charger from these via their Amazon Seller page. Arrived quick, no problem with the item etc.

Today, I've gone on their site, logged in etc to see if there were any discount codes to put towards a dc dc xs charger. Upon logging in, I went onto my warranty page. A month later, they've still left my warranty as pending on the item.

I then went onto previous orders.

On this page, I noticed an order from March 2023, before I even had a camper. Clicked it and found the following

• Another person's order
• Order details
• Address
• Name
• Phone number
• Email

I've emailed them asking why this is visible via my account, as when I click "my account" it shows all my details.

Just thought it was worth a heads up incase anyone on here decides to use the site.

I have blanked details out, so I'm not sharing it online

That’s a shame as they are an excellent company run by a couple of enthusiasts. I’d drop the other chap a message and let him decide if he wants to report. And also give the company chance to reply and rectify. Mistakes do happen. It’s possibly a problem with whatever system they are using or it’s been manually put in wrong and connected to the wrong account.

Yeah, very true.

I've dropped them an email, and there's an option to message them on WhatsApp which I've done.

Hopefully it's a genuine mistake, but if his details are on my account.....where are my details being stored?
