Hi all
A garage has recently fitted a pioneer head unit and WiFi reversing camera to our 2016 T6. They really struggled to get camera working reliably. Sometimes the image is ok. Sometimes it drops out or goes noisy, with image repeated three times on screen. Accelerating makes it worse. They say they tried to hard wire the video signal and no change (so it's not the WiFi link between camera and head unit).
Doing some reading on line it sounds like it could be due to PWM on the power to reversing light (where the camera gets it's power from). They fitted a voltage stabiliser/filter but still no good.
Google ai suggested using obd11 pro to turn off pwm on reverse signal. I wondered if anyone has experience of that and knows if it's possible, and if it can resolve the camera imagine issue? If so, I'll possibly invest in one. I have a carista evo but couldn't see options to turn off the pwm
Thanks
Stuart
