I've also tried that, its a CFC one, all lights up as it should as well, i looked upnwhat the lights meant within its manual, its very strange.Do you know where the trailer module is? Try unplugging it
Does anything need coding when adding tow bar electrics? Might be worth me getting someone to check that?Do you know where the trailer module is? Try unplugging it
According to this video link it means all is well...Hmmm they don’t usually have lights on. Can you post a pic?
I Dont have it unfortunately, just trying to rule something simple out, which no doubt it isIf you have VCDS you could do a block map dump to see what the ECUs are reporting with reverse gear engaged (and to see if it thinks a trailer is attached etc)

I have bud yea, this is really starting to drive me nutsThey do normally light up.
Have you tried disconnecting / reconnecting the 12v battery
Is on my 6.1 budI didn't think number plate lights were on the monitoring circuit? Not on my t5.1 anyway .
Very possible, the van still knows its in reverse though, sensors work and the discover media screen also changes.... driving me crazy nowI'm assuming that the light on the module only indicates the health of the tow bar wiring and not the original reverse light wiring. It could be a break in the wire in a section not monitored by the module ie. the original reverse light wiring?
Have you done it yet?I will give that a go, lost light earlier, am i right in thinking i can put it reverse with just the batrery on and the light should come on?
No mate, will dig deeper at the weekendHave you done it yet?
No, i want to fix the issue 1st, i payed the lad for the missed apointment though#k3ogh
- Did you take your van for its MOT anyway, or are you fixing the reversing light first?
