Hi there I bought a T6 from Unique Transporters
With 120.000 miles 2019 model

Car seemed fine but was pulling to left
Was told road Surface is not even where the dealer is located
Belts were noisy I been told they all do that in the morning
Door lock mechanising sensor was faulty
Oil level sensor was faulty
Steering wheel was noisy
One small cover panel was missing from front passenger side wheel arch

I get funny oil smell from car and engine alway puts fans on even after short journeys
I took it ti
Motorway to go through DPF regen etc to meme sure (I been advised to do so)

I got the car diagnosed as soon as I get back to home and mechanic came with diagnose tool and give me faults

I went back to dealer and sent him fault they booked the car in and done the belt noise and changed airbag or wheel but it not noisy anymore
They said oil Smell was from service (after 1200 miles still same smell coming in to cabin

Last night engine management light came on Motorway and smell also

I am within 30 days of purchase
I want to reject the car and return to dealer

They have not sold it in correct state works was not done properly

When they repaired hasn’t been done right small of lil is still there
I
Don’t want a £27k car and have airbag replaced smell of oil
Sensors faulty

Can I return easily back to them or have to fight with them

I want it to be smooth and no hassle

I bought it knowing mileage issue but it is not satisfactory I am not happy with dealer repairs or ability to repair

What is the easiest way to do
?

I won’t use the car now till i
Get answer from them

Thanks for help and advise guys

You have statutory rights, but as you already know, time is of the essence. This isn’t the time or place to be dicking about on internet forums, you’ll get conflicting advice & end up more confused than when you started. There’s a lot at stake. Go to a local solicitor, spend a couple of hundred quid & get proper advice. You can also try your local Citizens Advice Bureau.
Move!

PS, the smell in the cab sounds like it could be a split EGR pipe.

thanks but quiet rude answer whoever you are not like been answered like that
i am not dicking around

i have already done citizen advice and dealer has agreed to take it back
Forums are all about this you get loads if useless answers but one person will know what they are talking about.

Actually that was really good advice from Salty Spuds as you did not mention you had taken proper advice in your initial post.

i have called citizen advice after the post
his advice is good not the words he choose
Not sure why are you getting involved ??

People are offering help and advice to you on here and you appear to be taking it a bit personal. Your post was on a open forum asking questions that you appeared you didn't know answers. Thanks would have been a better reply.

Somebody got the wrong side of things

I asked on Forum for advice and advice was don’t dick around Forum.

I don’t agree cause you have people knowing what they are talking about on Forums

That’s what I am after the the there is loads of Keyboard Hero’s like you just bored and wrote staff to write

For future reference if you buy a car and you are not satisfied with it from trader you can take it back to them you don’t even have to give them chance to fix it
I have given them 1 chance to fix anyway my problems were still there so Law is on my side and I could return vehicle for full refund within 30 days
Asking as fault is there within 30 days and not something small

This is all about Forums learning and helping eachother.

If you think writing on Forum is docking around than you are all wasting time whoever doesn’t agree with me

If you are around Horsham come and have beer and talk to me if you don’t agree with what I say.

Hope someone learned something new from this thread.

I won’t answer to anymore Not needed really

I’m guessing English isn’t your first language & if so, I think something has got lost in translation. “Dicking around” is a figure of speech, meaning “Don’t waste time or hang about” My advice was well intentioned & appears to have been useful. I suggest that you step back, take a breath & chill a little.

@Tazmania.1981
If you don’t won’t to hear the truth, or others advice why ask for it
You don’t have to believe it correct or use it, just appreciate someone’s took time out to give there opinion on the matter

I won’t belikle myself and drop to your mentality to tell you my option on it and yourself

thanks
