I’m currently using an ax-3250. The sound quality and amplification is superb, and I am more than happy with the simple CarPlay functionality and sound, so, I’d rather just keep things similar, but, and there is a big but, the screen is crap.
I am not sure if it’s just the position, as the Matt screen faces upward in the dash, and when the sun is out, it makes the stereo screen practically useless, as it’s just greyed out, which also makes navigation and my reverse camera useless!
I am thinking maybe the answer is the floating unit, as this could be tilted forward to give a flatter screen, but I do not want to waste £500 on what is basically the same stereo, with a bigger floating screen if it doesn’t solve the issue.
Has anyone got any experience with this unit?
