Rear bump stops

Hi guys,
Have just fitted solows and after shortening the rear bump stops a little one of the rubbers keeps falling out and the metal bit that’s above it inside the tube has come away to. Not sure why as I cut them both the same length and the other side is fine. Any suggestions as to how I could get the rubber to stay in the right place?

Perhaps Sikaflex.

I have bought some vw bora bump stops, they fit perfectly up into the remaining tube , thin end first, then trim the largest end down to suit they work perfect.

Just ordered a set of them Do they stay in by themselves or did you need to glue them or something ?

They do stay in but I blobbed a bit of sikkaflex round them just incase
