Rear aircon temporary bypass

Hi all, I’ve finally found the leak from my a/c system, it’s actually coming from one of the pipes going to the rear evap unit!!
I’m trying to do a temp fix as replacement part is currently unavailable!!!!!!
I was hoping to split the system at the front were the 2 regassing valves. Has anyone ever done this before?????
