Real tailgate handle not working

My rear tailgate has been a problem, open when I’m driving on it’s own and now I can not open it from the outside.

I thought water had got in, always worse after a lot of rain or after washing the van.

Taken it apart this morning and found a lot of water inside the rear handle which I think has got into the micro switch.

I need part no 7EO827566B but I’m searching and can not find that part anywhere online. Not sure if the handles I can find are the same but just without the key lock. I’ve never used the key and for some reason that won’t turn either.

Any suggestions?

That was my bad typing here, I think it is a 0 but I’ve tried both

maybe search "VW T6 tailgate handle" with model and year in case the part number has been superceded.
It sounds like the original part is susceptable to water damage.
