Rattle near map reading lights.

So....I've had an annoying rattle coming from the overhead panel by the lights. I finally got round to investigating it, I got the panel off, found a wire and connector that could be the culprit so taped them up. Now the problem is when I put the plastic panel back in the clips just aren't snapping back in. Has anyone taken this panel out and put it back in without any problems? Do you know what shape the clips should be to provide the tension to hold it in place?

had the same rattle problem with mine drive me nuts. sorry I can not help with the refitting of the panel as I got mine done by vw dealer under warranty

I think I may have to take it back to the dealers to ask for there assistance .

My clips rattled. Keep trying. It goes in a very specific way.

I too had this problem. It was solved with some new clips when it last went in for a service.
