I picked up a new error code a few weeks ago - B111A 11 - Short to Ground
Here is the VCDS output :

Antenna 2 is housed in the RH mirror pod, a repair of which requires dismantling the door card and the mirror cover (with the risk of damaging the fragile clips).
After attempting to clear the code in VCDS, it would immediately reappear.
As the error code relates to the aerial wiring, I thought it would be worth checking the antenna ground lead, which is attached to the mirror body.
The mirror pod is secured by three T30 Torx bolts, which are accessible without removing the door card.
The mirror pod includes a rubber gasket, which exposes the wiring from the antennae

There was surface corrosion on the mounting arms, more-so under the gasket

Use a T20 bit to undo the bolt and expose the antenna earth connx, which was heavily corroded.

The job is tricky due to the limited amount of slack in the mirror wiring, I rested the mirror pod against the door with a thick beanie hat.
With required tools to hand, I scraped the mounting lug back to bright alloy with a flat blade, and cleaned the earth connx with wire wool and WD40.
I then reassembled the earth connx with a little dielectric grease and reinstalled the mirror pod.
Back in VCDS, I ran a scan and was pleased to note that the error code would clear; it has not reappeared after several ignition cycles.
Total time to fix is appx 20 minutes, and no mirror glass or pesky plastic clips to deal with.
As with all online articles, you attempt this repair at your own risk.
This method worked well for me, however I accept no liability for your ham-fisted incompetence.
