I'm midway through running some cables for a service batteries and its looking like I've disturbed some of the wiring harness. I routed some cables from underneath the glovebox to the left side of the engine bay, sharing one of the glands with some wiring harness to get to the starter battery - this may have turned out to be a mistake.
Before the issues occurred I disconnected the drivers seat sensor, moved the wiring harnesses around in the passenger seat to find the best battery location, shortened the grounding stud in under the passenger seat and then routed the power cables into the engine bay. The starter battery was disconnected and removed. I also added a negative wire to the grounding stud on the engine, which is currently not connected to anything.
I then decided to power up the van to check that nothing had been disturbed. I'm now getting the following error messages on the dash:
- Manoeuvre braking currently unavailable
- Error: Hill start assist
- Error: Stability Control (ESC)
- Front Assist Unavailable
I also took an autoscan using VCDS which is pasted in below.
