Query about new conversion re guarantee and habitation certificate - can anyone help please

hi there our T6 conversion is soon to be ready , should we expect some kind of guarantee for the conversion work and if so what type of length of time should it cover minimum? Also should we be provided with a habitation certificate of safety by the company that did the conversion?
Finally is a habitation certificate required by insurance companies ?

There's no standard length of conversion guarantee, but I wouldn't buy a conversion that doesn't have at least a couple of years guarantee. Whether an insurer requires sight of a habitation cert will vary, depending on whether they specialise in campervans and whether the converter is known to/trusted by them. Best speak to your converter and to any potential insurers to get the exact picture for your circumstances.
