Puddle Lights

Hi everyone
Very new to this but here goes we are about to take delivery of our newly converted T6.1 SWB van amongst a few other things
i have purchased some new puddle lights which i intend to fit myself. The wiring instructions supplied look very straight forward
and I've researched the door card removal which i must admit I'm a bit tentative about.Can anyone offer any advice ie regarding installation, door wiring schematics or any other things to consider.

Handy to have some spare door card clips, as you will probably find a few break when removing the door card...

The ones below are for T6, not sure if they are the same on 6.1

These are the ones I used if it helps, good shout on saying to have some handy if you don’t break at least one or two your not pulling hard enough lol

Trim removal set off Amazon is always useful.

I’ve just fitted puddle lights to my doors. I also bought some spare clips, but didn’t need them myself. Even so, I am glad I had them ready in case.
I found taking it slowly and carefully paid dividends when taking the door card off.
For putting it back on, I found that removing the window seal from the top of the door card, and fitting that first made it easier. However, don’t forget to connect the door release cable, as I did!
if you haven’t already, it’s worth sound deadening inside the door while you are at it.
