Power sliding doors - one door just flashing

My battery nearly died the other day, since then I've had the left hand door illuminated on the door buttons.

From the inside, I can open the door manually but if I try to open the door from the fob, button on the dash or outside handle - nothing. It only works if I pull the 40 amp J fuse underneath the passenger seat and slide it manually. But even then, the soft close doesn't work if it's in or out.

If anyone has experienced this before, please let me know what worked for you.

I tried leaving the fuses out for 2 days, but nothing. It's weird the outside handle doesn't work either regardless of the fuse being in or out.

Not the same but my soft close stopped working late last year, full electromagic door.

Door module behind the rear side panel had failed. Fixed under warranty, they said it had overheated due to the insulation I'd stuffed in there but I suspect that was bollocks.

Just for info ...

I suspect it's something similar, I believe it's still under extended warranty so I'll call them tomorrow to get it booked in. Was hoping it'd be something easy that I could just replace without all of the faff of taking it to a dealer :(

Twin slider? They (VW) said the module was exactly the same left to right so you could try swapping them over if you can be bothered.

Has the battery had a decent charge since ?
Low battery/volts can cause weirdness so you want to make sure the battery is doing ok
I took it for a long run today, and it's a fairly new battery. It was dead for around half a day.

Correct, any idea what the name of the part is? I'll have a look online to see where it is.

J927 ... apparently ...

Don't know what the actual part number is, VW aren't very communicative on that sort of thing.

I am currently experiencing a similar problem.

I suspect that my battery is also giving lower voltage. The right sliding door does not work.

The door was open when I started my T6. I barely started. Since then I had the flashing light on the dash button.

I disconnected the battery and now the light is off. It seems as if the door does not get power.

Where can I check te fuses and does anybody have a fuse diagram showing which fuse works on what circuit?

Thank you

Two big 30amp fuses under front of passenger seat (on mine) for the power sliders. I don't believe the soft close bit is specifically fused but that doesn't seem to be your problem.

Edit: may be 40amp ... square things.

Did you manage to look further? Mine goes in for repair tomorrow. I was going to look further, but with warranty, there's not much point.
