Global warming alert... don't remember ever seeing one of these in the garden when we were kids... grasshoppers and shield beetles yes but not one of these...

It was about 25mm long and looked fluorescent green compared to the actual picture... it was watching me too and kept turning to keep sidewards on.

Who would argue with Google lens!

This site has been a mine of useful info on birds of prey, the chafer bug and now the bush cricket.
Makes me wonder how I got to being a pensioner without having seen some of these native creatures but every day on here is a school day!
