The central locking on my passenger front door has packed up today. I can still manually lock/unlock the door but the motor makes a fairly loud whirring sound when locking or unlocking on the fob or by the switch on the drivers side control.
I haven’t taken the door card off yet, I’m minded to get the replacement part before opening the door up. Is this a straight swap out? Is it a nightmare to get the old lock out? Will I need VCDS for the swap to set any adaptation (I don’t have VCDS), or is it plug and play?
