OZ Rally Raid 17’s

Love how that looks! - which is good as I've been toying with the idea of doing pretty much exactly the same, and I do like those Rally Raids

Cheers mate - very pleased with the overall look - actually think larger AT tyres suit a 40mm lowered van really well - fill the arches perfectly - obviously not aiming to do any actual off roading in the van, but for the amount of dirt roads I drive down going surfing in SW UK and the general state of the roads here too they are excellent - and look sweet too.

@pogue22 I must admit, it looks lower than 40mm. It's a great look though.
I agree mate - but local vw specialist confirmed it's about a 40mm drop - suspension was already done when I got the van - I'll double check at some point to confirm - either way I think i got pretty lucky with the 235/60/17 Grabbers fitting like a glove!

I assume you've got a bit of equipment inside?
A bit - Standard Kombi middle 2+1 seats - slide pod cooker/sink/flip over bed unit in the rear with water tanks e.t.c - front swivel captain seats leisure battery under one - so not loads of additional weight really - had a look and think springs are H@R 40mm drop.

On Koni Special shocks (not special actives), std springs, 25mm lift spacers, sitting at 450mm front and rear (thanks to the extra weight of the Caravelle).

Great thread this! I have a T6 T32, LWB, Looking at getting OZ Rally Raid in gloss black, 17x8, ET35 with 235/65/17 Pirelli Scorpion AT plus 108. I have B14 comfort adjustable coil overs. Has anyone had any issues with this type of setup? Pics attached of current setup. Thanks Adam

New Wheels today - always liked the look of swamper wheels - but didn't want to go for a full swamper on the van - lift kit e.t.c. T6 Highline lowered 40mm with Oz Rally Raids in Matt black with 235/60/17r General Grabbers AT3 - rides lovely and not so concerned about the terrible Devon roads anymore! Slightly un conventional wheels/tyre combo on a lowered van but really pleased with how well they fill the arches and look, no rubbing but very snug, excellent next day delivery package from 'Elite Wheels', highly recommend those guys - very helpful.

Hi are they gloss or satin black ? They look good

Apologies for the thread resurrection but didnt want to start a new one.......Anyone previously had 225/65/17 on their Rally Raids and swapped to 235/65/17? Seems to be a more popular tyre size.

I'm running Eibach 30mm lowered springs and spacers (25mm rear, 21mm front) and I can't see much space before I get some rubbing.

Has anyone else got similar set up and give me some pointers or confidence that it's OK

Thanks for the confirmation.

Doubt I'll ever be going lower than 40mm

I think 235/65 potentially fill the arches better than 225/65 so I'd get the look I want without needing to lower it anyway
