Our First Calif' (T6)

We took the plunge. We were torn between different Multivans, but given the prices on the used car market, we decided to spend a little extra and give it a try—so we went for it.



2018 T6 California Coast TDI 150 DSG 7.

I just drove it nearly 1,000 km to bring it back, and it’s a real pleasure to drive.

I was familiar with the T4. My dad has one... a 2.5L naturally aspirated...

What a difference!! (laughs)



It was a demo model, so it came with the power sunroof (which is standard on the Ocean version, if I’m not mistaken).

The previous owner had it fitted with a solar roof.

We live in Normandy (Cotentin)

Thanks for the warm welcome. It’s true that it was a long drive, but the van is nice and comfortable. I think we’re going to have a great time with it. Next stop: Spain this summer!

No, I don't plan on upgrading it.

From what I've read, the main difference between the Coast and the Ocean is the power sunroof.

Since it was a display model, it already came with a lot of features (including the power sunroof).

Yes, I think the base model for the Multivan is the “Edition” version, which is then equipped with Coast.
