OEM DAB radio changes stations and then freezes.

This has been covered before but after explaining what the radio is doing I have some questions to ask.
When listening to the radio it will change to another station on its own after doing this the screen freezes, if I reset on the on off button as the manual says it will go back to normal and then after a short time will change station again.
This seems to be quite a common event so the questions are
1 is it worth repairing and if so where and at what cost,
2 can I buy a new set that has been taken from a new van and fit it into mine and get it re-coded.
I am based in Norfolk and have looked on the net for repairs but all seem to be 100 miles away any advice great filly received . The radio in question is from a Highline with CD standard parking sensors and bluetooth.

Well pi55ed off as van is less than 4 years old and its already had to have two new shocks on the front replaced at less than twenty thousand miles and now having covered twenty-five thousand this has happened.

Hi @kev b .. Have you spoken to a local car radio specialist as from my own experience of radio ( prior to dab ) Norfolk being so flat had lots of channel interference.. but I’ve changed my head unit ( non vw) and it’s not easy to swop vw head units...
I also has a shock go at 8k ..was told a bad batch across the vag group......just had a thought have you ever knocked the mirrors as this where the DAB aerial is ....( driver side I think )...
Ps. Mine was a fancy highline and everything works well with the new unit..parking sensors ..reverse camera and the dashcam links to the head unit...:)
