Not A R&r Bed, Alternative Ideas?

Hey there

I'm looking for an alternative to the standard rock & roll beds that you see installed in practically every conversion.

I don't need to carry passengers in the back so I don't need a rated seat. I am looking for an option that will sit in the back left corner (standard place) and then extend into a bed. I want it to be deeper than the normal beds/seats that you see and as low as it can go above the wheel arches. So essentially a 'sofa' that extends into a bed that's about 180cm long.

Has anyone seen anything that fits the bill? I've got a bulkhead towards the rear of my van (LWB T6) to I can use that as a backrest/headboard so even a deep 'box' that extend out to a bed would do. I have units on the driver's side all the way along.

I am about to sell my Ququq box.
It is a near 2meter bed that folds onto and out the way. Under the box is a slide out double hob, shelving, 2x 10ltr water storage with 2x sinks, pull out chairs, room for a fridge but we have ikea boxes with numerous bits in.
It can be pulled in and out as and when or strapped in. Its not over the arches but not far off entire width, my plan was to build pull out shelving to go over the arches and make the bed the full width.
I made a leisure battery box that sits in front of it and when the bed is folded up you use it as a seat/sofa. With the bed folded you were still able to have 2nd row seats fitted.
Worth a look as its multi functional and abit different.
