despite washing, de-tarspotting, washing again and polishing Mrs Loz’s car I am in the dog house.

Because in my rush to clean up and get ready to go to the MiL’s for lunch, I threw the all the microfibre cloths in the washing machine with the weekly wash.
Unfortunately this included the one I had used for the tar remover.

So when we got home and the washing machine was emptied... all the clean washing and now the house smells of tar remover... :speechless:

Doh!

Don’t try this at home folks...

Oh dear. I know how bad that is, we have to throw away any microfiber cloths we've used tar remover on. They stink out the van if not, so I cannot imagine what your house smells like. A chemical factory I suspect.

I done this over the weekend too and my misses didn’t notice the smell. Winner

Tip number 2 -Don't use the dishwasher as a parts washer..............

DAMHIK.

SWMBO comes into garage throws open doors windows because of the disgusting smell ( glues paints etc and yes. The occasional f@rt ) then goes back in the house. I go into house to find her at the kitchen table with a small lake of nail polish remover...am I allowed to open a window... no .... because it’s different.....but dear it’s the same solvent I’ve just been using outside but I pay the same for a gallon as you pay for a smalll bottle....I forgot that you can throw small bottles

I did the same last week with a wash full of new towels. It’s potent stuff!
