New tyres, same size but rubbing!?

Good evening all!

After sorting my wheel alignment perfectly, I have started using my camper again, T32 LWB full camper on Solow NSL's about 10mm from max drop.
Anyway, I have had 4 new tyres, same size as before, 265/40R20'S Goodyear Eagle F1's yet for some reason these tyres now rub on the plastic arch liners on compression - the bit near the doors that has a plastic lip.
When I did the coil overs I bent the tab up at the top and put my liner above it and all was fine, same size tyres but Acellera branded.

I have taken the wheels off again, made sure all is as up as can be but it still rubs and has pretty much gone through the plastic arch in these areas.

What's my best options here?

I don't really understand why it's happening as nothings changed other than a different brand tyre? Surely there's not that much difference in tyre but what else can it be?

Accelera have a much more rounded side wall compared to good year , that’s why most on air or low vans use them, I use them as I’m low on solow coilovers .

I guess the Goodyears are slightly wider I can’t see it being anything else. I run the same Goodyear's / size as you and they rub ever so slightly but its no real concern. I reckon you will notice a great improvement in ride and handling over the Acellera’s which I rate as one of the worst tyres ever! Good Luck.

I think you're right, it can't be anything else, don't really want to raise the height of the van but I'm a bit concerned if I trim the arch liner there then there's no protection on the lips from road stones and all that crap.

When you say rub slightly, is it just on full lock or on the arch lip near the door?

Yes just on full lock. In reality I hardly ever use full lock.
