Sorry I`m a bit late replying to this thread. I collected my T6.1 DSG 4M back in June & my extras were:
Heated Front seats-heated front screen GREAT
Power latch on single LH side door & I take StueyStuey`s point on board.
Upgraded Battery & alternator.
Diff Lock.
80L fuel tank
The Diff lock may never be needed but my rationale was that if someone in the future wants to convert this vehicle then the 80L tank, diff lock & upgraded battery/altenator shold be positive features.
I wasn`t bothered about Sat nav as I use phone.
Regrets are not speccing the LED lights because stupid head came from a Skoda Superb & assumed the transporter standard lights would be the same...wrong!
I simply cannot understand why VW don`t offer a heated steering wheel because in my experience it is so comforting when jumping into a cold vehicle and your hands are quickly warm and cosy...might be an age thing lol.
I would like to investigate improved sound insulation & an improved sound system but otherwise I`m really happy with van and no regrets.
