The place I get my tyres said I needed two new fronts. He overheard me speak about potentially AT's at some point and mentioned that they had a set of these Michelins they have been sat for over a year on the shelf and they let me have them for £270 for the four, all fitted, new valves and balanced! They feel so muc better and lighter than the 20 inch Range rover lumps I was rolling on

That is a bargain , probably a grands worth of rubber .

235/65R16, quite a saving very well done. I should make it my business to visit all tyre depots looking for tyres needing homes. Shelf life a different meaning!

Google suggests about £170 each upwards plus fitting, balancing, disposal of your old rubber etc ....I reckon you did alright
