Pretty much, and the fact that I forgot there were 4 bolts holding the lights in. Scratching my head for a good 40 minutes wondering why it wouldn't budge

I bought some wind deflectors, but liked the look of these ones rather than the heko channel ones
I also removed the splitter as I hated it. I've just ordered the sportline front end, pre painted

I decided to search again for a sportline bumper.
Managed to find this genuine vw version on eBay, brand new never painted for £200 delivered.
Also bought a debadged grill from vanstyle for £104
I have already fitted the gloss lower grills from vanstyle last week

Just dropped my bumper off at the spray shop, had to do a test fit to see how much flex is in it. Safe to say, I don't think I'd need screws 
Had a few hours on the van Today. Yesterday was mums wedding, so I was away.
Managed to fit my new mirror covers, debadged grill and my interior electrics.

Today marks 1 month of ownership
If you've got this far, you'll have seen the drama I had with Vee dubs and the poorly painted bumper I bought. You'll also have seen that I got myself a genuine sportline bumper, which Today I picked up from the spray shop.
40 minutes fitting with my neighbour and it's totally transformed the front end.

Much better bud, Take a look at the extra low splitter from from vanstyle, will finish it off a treat so the front is similar height to the sidebars.

I loved my old front end mate, the headlight eyebrows if you wanted them are here : ABS Front Headlight Brows Textured Black - VW T6 2015 - 2019 - Vanstyle
I had the textured black above, as i liked the contrast between gloss black grill and matt black eyebrows but you can get gloss black ones too.
