Hi everyone sorry if I'm being boring I know this has been covered before but I have always been pleased with the mpg I am getting . Just come home from a weekend trip of over 500 miles and My 2015 180 dsg ( mapped to 200 ) is showing 41 to 38 mpg on mostly motorway driving at 65 to 80 mph . A few years ago I drove from Bognor Regis to Aviemore Scotland around 530 miles fuel warning light just coming on , I think that's pretty good .

Interestingly (or not) I just did a brim to brim calculation to compare with the computer's numbers doing around 500 miles. Computer said 35.6 mpg, calculation (actual litres added) came to 36.6.

'24 plate, 150 manual 4mo. Light load, 265/40/20 tyres at 36psi. Much motorway, trying to keep it to 65mph, some rural and town driving as well. Lots of Aircon use ... it all adds up.

Hi mate yes defo air-conditioning is a must at the moment what do you get for short journeys ? If the trip computer is correct I get around 24 to 27 .

44 from my 5 speeder 110 on a long journey, 38-41 pottering about in mixed motoring. I have to try hard to get it as low as 36 or do short journeys on a cold motor, which I try to avoid anyway.

Thats legal speed driving at all times without any real attention to consumption atnrhe time.

That's impressive mate .👍

You’re right this is boring 🤣 fill her up drive it until she’s near empty and repeat.
I do have a heavy right foot at times.

T32 204 mixed driving around 25-30 most of the time
Mk8 Golf R lucky to get 20🥴

Just to add my ten peneth, I’m in a 2018 tsi and every time I’ve filled up from empty I have reset the trip and done the maths. Mainly local driving, never been below 26 and never been above 28. Happy with these figures, would be interested to see what other Tsi drivers are getting ( if there are any out there !) especially any doing longer journeys.
