My T6 has long gone and has been replaced by a LWB Crafter.
Those that have been following my build on here will have already seen it but as I’d forgotten about this thread here’s how one of my bikes fits inside my ‘full time campervan’
Here you go….
The o/s sofa slides across to make a king size bed, or pulls out a little to make a very wide single.
The magic starts with taking the N/S sofa apart. Cushions off.
The sofa is modular and in two parts each of which are fixed to the floor with 4 hand turn screws. First one out..
Second one out. Leaving the tambour door beneath the kitchen unit.
Note the three Unwin tracks on the floor (left right and middle), but also note the hidden rail just below the windows, there is another on the other side.
To give me a little more space to fit a motorcycle in, I open the tambour door and remove the two waste bins - one for recycling!
The bike fits in easily, with the front wheel snugly tucked under the kitchen unit.
Webbing straps for and aft keep the bike steady, and for extra safety, I use a sling on the front wheel which works the same as a chock, preventing any forward movement at all.
