Its a crap day here weatherwise and I'm bored and doing everything I can to avoid starting a decorating job in the house. Having a wee nosey at s/hand vans on the VW site and spotted this. So glad it wasn't around when I was looking...…..

Droitwich Listers are now offering this up-rated package if you were in the market.
They recently did a blue one for a customer.

This is fast becoming my favourite look, even over my current style.
I really want to go full out with the Swamper style, but I'm so reluctant to loose my wheels, and the 19" wheel with a full on chunky tyre just doesn't work :(

I've always preferred this look over the dropped vans, and the ideal time would have been now as im changing wheels and tyres, Im just not yet convinced the weight of those bad boys are any good for wheel bearings etc over a long period of time ?

If you mean the wheel and tyre combo, I can assure you that my 19" banded steels on normal tyres are a lot heavier, with no effects in the 20k I've been running them.

One of my favourite vehicles I have seen at a show (think it was campermart 2018) was a dark grey T6 swamper, that had had the back end chopped and turned into a flat bed/ pick up truck. Awesome loooking machine.

Have you seen the new Transporter HQ creation? It's bizarre:confused:

I saw it at an open day in Leicester yesterday.

Transporter HQ on Instagram: “We still have plenty to do but the @solowsuspension #t6trayback is coming along nicely. Can’t thank @jacksshackuk and…”

Yes that's the only thing that's put me off going above the 18" rims that VW use, I've run defenders and they are obviously built for that kind of terrain. I know what your saying but sometimes vanity overlooks other factors.

not sure about this, don't think this suits a transporter, doesn't sit nearly high enough. Liking the colour though, looks like a land rover green.

It sits far higher than I looks on those pictures, but like you, I'm not sure what it actually is.

Knowing Andy, I guess that's the whole idea.

These are guys who build it, they’ve up updated their website...

Website: New Ultimate Transporters

Not too sure about this one. THQ have done some lovely vehicles, their slammed T5 flatbed (now with transplanted T6 wings/ bumpers/ grills etc) was a fine example of their flair. This just doesn’t look all that IMO.
