I've always preferred this look over the dropped vans, and the ideal time would have been now as im changing wheels and tyres, Im just not yet convinced the weight of those bad boys are any good for wheel bearings etc over a long period of time ?
One of my favourite vehicles I have seen at a show (think it was campermart 2018) was a dark grey T6 swamper, that had had the back end chopped and turned into a flat bed/ pick up truck. Awesome loooking machine.
Yes that's the only thing that's put me off going above the 18" rims that VW use, I've run defenders and they are obviously built for that kind of terrain. I know what your saying but sometimes vanity overlooks other factors. If you mean the wheel and tyre combo, I can assure you that my 19" banded steels on normal tyres are a lot heavier, with no effects in the 20k I've been running them.
not sure about this, don't think this suits a transporter, doesn't sit nearly high enough. Liking the colour though, looks like a land rover green.Have you seen the new Transporter HQ creation? It's bizarre
I saw it at an open day in Leicester yesterday.

Not too sure about this one. THQ have done some lovely vehicles, their slammed T5 flatbed (now with transplanted T6 wings/ bumpers/ grills etc) was a fine example of their flair. This just doesn’t look all that IMO.Have you seen the new Transporter HQ creation? It's bizarre
