Missing Torx screw from glovebox

Hi all

I was just installing my new glove box light but found that the metal part on the rear glove box where you would connect th Earth didn’t have the Torx screw i needed. The VW converters had already installed the Van X upper glove box and looked like they couldnt be bothered to replace the screw. Does anyone know what size it is and where I can get one from please?

There is no separate earth on the glovebox light, it’s part of the courtesy light loom. There will be a few brown earth wires going through the coloured connectors behind the glove box. You could pick an earth up there.

Definitely. The courtesy circuit goes through those connectors. Use red/black +ve and brown -ve

Resurrecting this thread because I removed my glovebox a couple of weeks ago and went to refit it today but I can't remember where I put the screws. Is there a part number for these?

Not OEM but they should do the job.
