Mirror-cover clips: remove, replace, renegade??

My £43,000 online purchase has arrived with a slightly wonky wing mirror:



I've heard that the clips inside these covers are very fragile, so should I:

• try to remove the current cover and re-fit it with the clip in its proper position?
• buy a new cover to replace this one in the expectation that it's either broken already or will break when I remove it?
• try to live with it like this and not be irritated by the fact that the most expensive thing I've ever bought online is not quite perfect?

The mirror cover clips are very fragile - there is a write up in the VIP section on removal and replacement without breaking the clips.

For that top clip, I would remover the glass (see the method on the forum for prising it off the clips) then release the top clips, then carefully use a trim tool to open the gap at the top until the clip pops under. That way you wouldn’t need to take it off completely and risk the bottom tabs breaking.
