Hi fellow T6ers . I'm new here and a recovering.... Wait, wrong forum, although I am new here having recently purchased a '68 plate Peppermint T6. My plans are not extreme as I mainly need it to transport my family of 6 and 4 dogs, so coming up are windows and a second row of seats along with more than just plyboard interior.

It's been a while since I've frequented any forums due to the kids, however, my VW history is extensive, my biggest love is my '82 Jetta, I'm struggling to find a photo on my phone through the file navigation but if you like that kind of thing feel free to check it out on Instagram Login • Instagram

Knowing my history, I'm sure that as soon as any funds free up, more changes will happen to the van but for now, here it is .

Little update since my first post
✔️ Second row seats are in (by Carbon Motive)
✔️ Windows are now fitted (by Carbon Motive)
✔️ Bulk head removed
✔️ Sound deadening/insulation has been started
✔️ Front and rear dash cams wired in
✔️ Made and mounted some speakers in the rear (I've still got to wire them up)

There's still a list of things to do but progress has been good.

Love the colour! What rack have you got? I’m considering swapping my OEM bars for something like this as way more practical when we’re off with the caravan and day trips
 
It's a rhino rack, it came already fitted to the van so in not about what model etc. There is a bit of wind noise from it that's definitely noticeable when you've got the windows wound down but it's definitely come in handy

I looked at both of the racks below before ultimately sticking with Ulti Bars.

The UltiRack is very similar to the Rhino.

Note that there are different models depending on whether you have a tailgate or barn doors.

And the headlights. Where and how much. I want. Like really want. Any pics with them on.
 
For the first time in months (don't shame me, I've got four kids and living in a Reno property!) I managed to wash my van and took the leap up to clean the roof, I don't think it's ever looked this clean up there

N.B. Ignore the caved in rear arch, I'm saving up to get it repaired
