Looking for connectors

Hi guys, I just had my solar panel fitted to the roof of the van but I’m struggling to source the connectors I need to connect it to my DC-DC.
Cables are 4mm sq, connection point on charger is an M8. I’m looking for the connector style shown in the picture but can’t find a 4-8 anywhere. Anyone able to give me any pointers please? I’ve ordered 50 from AliExpress as they were only £4 but they won’t arrive until June and I’d like to get it working prior to that.

Thanks in advance

Any decent electrical wholesaler on your local industrial estate will have them. Yesss, CEF, Edmundsons for example.

thats fine . . . the crimp will crush down with no issues.

if your worried just strip and bend the cable back on its self. . . (double up) then just trim down a bit.

then use heatshrink for Tessa tape to make a neat job of it.

Thanks Dell. I usually heat shrink over the end and I have the same crimpers already. Agree they are very good. I’ve got some 6mm connectors so if I can’t get the 4mm ones, I’ll probably do a temp connection using the 6mm and replace them when the slow boat from China delivers the 4mm ones. I’m also not a fan of the yellow insulated connectors someone else suggested in this application. The contact area on the crimp is quite small and I want to get a better connection.
