Long time lurker..still waiting

Morning all,

Newbie, I have been lurking for a while now... I guess since ordering my van in January.

Still waiting for my grey swb 150 dsg highline panel van. Apparently it has been delivered at the dealership but delayed due to the sportline springs being on back order for the last 2 weeks now.

Excellent wealth of knowledge here and help make the few options ordered easier to decide! Hopefully dont suffrr from the problem known with the 150 dsg that keep cropping up

Hope the 150 comes soon for you, suggestion, get oil changed at 2k, see if that avoids the issues later on...

Welcome @dubhead glad to hear that you should soon be taking delivery of your van. As you've been lurking since January you'll be familiar with the Forum and know that we are all curious about other people's vans so please post pictures when you get the van.

I got fed of waiting for my 30mm springs to arrive, after 5 weeks I cancelled them off my order and had a set of Eibach 50mm springs delivered next day. Handed them to the dealer and got them to fit free of charge for the inconvenience

I was quoted 12-14wks but he said it has come early, although he did say mine doesn't have a massive spec so may have made a difference. Also 3-4wks in I changed from BlackBerry to Grey and added front sensors and heated seats but seems to had no adverse effect.

Also he did say the production is quicker now from last year and I ordered via a vw dealership!

Mine isn't massive spec either. Hopefully ordering in Oryx won't mean it takes the full 18 weeks i was prepared for!
