Locking Van Situation

This has occurred twice, the 1st occasion was mmmmm, maybe I didn’t..... Today it reoccurred in the rain!!!
Scenario: I lock the van and walk away.... When I return both door windows are 1/3 open but doors locked. Is this a locking setting?

Shouldn't do ..

Press and hold the lock key on remote for comfort window close..(includes side mirror close to)

Press and hold the unlock key on remote for comfort window open..

Have you sat on the key while its locked?.....coz it could open the window, but auto relock if a door is not opened.?

Thanks @Dellmassive , accidentally deactivating is a possibility I’d thought of. It’s the fact the windows were a 3rd down each time...
I’ll hang the key up in the hall next to the front door in future save sitting on it

Is it possible that something is getting in the way, maybe stuck in one of the channels? Dropping back down by about a third is how electric windows often behave if something, eg a hand gets in the way of it closing

I always deactivate comfort closing on every van I have as I'm very prone to squashing the keys in my pocket when moving about the house.

Simple enough to do with VCDS or similar, Module 09 Byte 3 Bit 5 set to 0 (or un-tick) I think.

You're not going mad @Wills. This has happened to me three times. Definitely not accidentally pressing the buttons after it has been locked. The first time i thought it was my fault but the next two times was in a multi storey. One long press to double lock and fold mirrors. Watch the mirrors fold up,walk away. Come back to find windows down by a third. Rang my local dealer to get their opinion. The specialist window coming down on its own accord engineer was on lunch break. They said he would ring me back when he gets back . That was in February. Hasn't happened since, so haven't tried to contact him again. Didn't want to interrupt his lunch.

Cheers @gal2009 , glad it’s not just me. That’s a loooong lunch break.
