Left Hand Door Problem

Hi,

My wife's shuttle has an issue with getting the LH sliding door to shut. When I compare the back latch/slider mechanism between the two sides they are different.

Should they be the same...

This is the RH


and this is the LH



I'm guessing the bolt needs tightening and a new 'locking' nut installing...

So I have tightened the bolt back up. Does anyone know if the "lock" nut on the top is available on its own?

You could put it back on with some Loctite blue if you can't get a locknut.

I don't think that's any particular locking nut I think it's just a thin nut you can tighten down to help lock.

Getting a spanner on to it is going to be a bit of a faff though I suspect.

So after the last time I found the nut on the driveway and reinstalled but without thread lock and now it has gone missing again…. I think it is this part no. N01111819 but cannot find a picture of it to confirm. Does anyone know what size the thread is on the nut? I think it is M8?
