Leaking Leisure Battery?

I have an xplorer 110 AH AGM leisure battery. It’s been on its side under my drivers seat for about 2 1/2 years.

I removed it tonight to connect up solar to my CTEK and it looks like it maybe leaking?

You can see some staining if you zoom in, but the panel that removes was wet. What do you think?

It’s on charge on the bench and I do it hear it almost bubbling away slowly - could it just be condensation?

Looking at your charger it’s set to recondition. This would only be done to try and recover a flat battery. It supply’s the battery with a higher than normal charge voltage to purposely ‘gas’ the battery in an attempt to remove sulphur deposits from the lead plates.
