Kenwood Dmx 8019 access error

Hi all,

I’ve had a Kenwood dmx 8019 fitted for a couple of years now, installed the usb retention kit from @Absolut5, all worked well but now getting

“an access error of the usb device has occurred”

Any body suffered from this or know what the fix is

Yes mate, both usb’s are doing it

It’s not a fault we have come across before. But reset (initialise) unit, try different cable, reboot phone if you are using this on usb. Try just one usb at a time, so the other one does not have anything plugged in

Hi Jason, I’ll give those things a try, I thought this might be a common problem

Looks like it’s not lol

Just to clarify, any usb cable can be used, it will still restrain the dash usb?
