DMX7017DABS An access error of the usb device decected

Folks have a kenwood DMX7017DABS fited

Using android phone

Was sort of working and then kept getting An access error of the usb device decected

Now get it all the time
However phone still charges but no on screen maps

Replaced the USB cable
Did not help

I guess something internal has failed

Given its age propley not cost effective to try and fix

Is there a more modern version that is just a case of swapping over the cables


Any thoughts

Hi, don’t suppose you found a fix for this? I’m currently having the same problem with mine, it also won’t connect to bluetooth anymore which is annoying

The only solution I found was to replace the head unit.

Found new phone would only support Bluetooth v5

This unit only supported Bluetooth v3
