OEM in-dash head unit constantly re-starting? (Help!)

Hoping someone might know… Today my head unit has started playing up. Constantly power-cycling (starts, works for a minute, becomes unresponsive and turns itself off, repeat). Radio, nav, reverse cam all unusable. Coincided with SOS call red warning light also permanently on. Normally I’d chuck it into local VW, only problem being I’m away in Italy and France for another couple of weeks and could really do with all the toys to help whilst driving over here. It is a 2021 T6.1 150DSG and had its 1st service and error codes/software updates recently. I’ve done the hard reset using both buttons, deleted all mobile devices, unplugged all usbs. No joy. TIA.

If it's under warranty then VW assist is pan European and might be able to help?

Of course if the SOS system is down the obvious way of getting in touch with them is likely not going to work...
