You say that but what was vw thinking when they made the rear mud flaps for the t5/t6 they are awful and make the van look hideous

Mine self destructed on my T5.1 Cali and were always a sod to clean. Definitely not the safety item as "suggested" above.
They can look good when in good nick though.

Just in from cleaning the van, despite it being white no tar spots so they must be doing some good!

Dark blue hides tar spots.
But manages to look muddy six minutes after I've cleaned it.

They could of made the rear fit a lot better than how they have.
