Just Bought A T6 Kombi

Hi All,

Just starting out on my journey from a stock White T32 Kombi + Tailgate to a camper conversion.

I am Midlands based any recommendations on companies to look at and those to avoid.

Am I dreaming if I think I can get it fitted out with a 1300 RIB, EVO slimline units, fridge, burner (no pop-top), bottom half re-spray and have some change from £10 grand???

Any help, advice, comments welcome.

EuniceJ Welcome. How much are you planning to do yourself ?

At the outset not a lot, however, that may change with regard to funds - put simply I guess I am a little scared about attacking a brand new van myself!!

Break it down into small stages, because it will stress the s**t out of you thinking of the build.
1/ Electrics, lighting, Leisure battery.
2/ insulation, sound deadening.
3/ Ply, carpet lining.
4/ Units, white goods
5/ Rib.

Some of these cross over in process of works, but you get the gist. My biggest mistake was trying to make it look pretty before i had the basics in place.
Don't know if a 10k budget will stretch to a re-spray as well , but good luck and i look forward to a couple pics.
