Just a quick question regarding negative busbar

Hi,

could anyone help me with this please?

Is it ok to ground the leisure battery via a busbar which is grounded to the chassis?

So i have a 16mm from the chassis to the neg busbar then a 16mm from the busbar to the neg of the leisure battery?

Is this ok or would i be better with a 16mm direct to the chassis from the leisure battery then 16mm from the leisure battery to the busbar?

Thanks

Sound ok to me . . . got a few pics? (but it does depend on the below )

you haven't mentioned how long these cables are going to be?

or what sort of loads you plan to be drawing?

Thanks for your reply

All the cabels are probably less than 0.5m

12way fuse board half populated, 5a - 6x led lights, 3a - 2x led strip lights, 3a - whale pump, 5a - 12v socket, 5a 2x USB, 3a Battery voltmeter

All these negative will be going back to the 12way busbar.

Then i wanted to take the negative of the Victron mains charger and the 12 way to a busbar under this cupboard.

This has then got a 16mm (0.5m) to the chassis and a 16mm (probably less than 0.5m) to the battery neg.

If i can do i like this it just helps keep it neat.

I have attached a picture of the cupboard where its all located the battery and the proposed busbar will be located directly underneath this.

Thanks
